97, Single Feed, Pulling 2 at a Time With the Right Hand

Home Tips and Help

It pays to have a variety of methods at hand for loading a 97. You never know what the situation is going to be. This one is farily easy, but takes some practice to become proficient. This technique is demonstrated assuming that the shooter is right handed. It will work equally well for a left handed shooter.

Dummy shells were used for this example. When practicing, make sure that there is no live ammunition in the area.

  • With the shotgun shouldered and the left hand on the pump pulling it back into your shoulder, pull 2 shells with the right hand.
